1. Who is responsible for your data
Digital Genius 360, [REGISTERED ADDRESS], is the controller of the personal information collected through this website. Contact us — including on privacy matters and to reach our grievance officer — at support@digitalgenius360.com.
Digital Genius 360 is an independent authorized reseller of Kaspersky consumer products. Digital Genius 360 is not Kaspersky, is not owned, operated or controlled by Kaspersky, and this website is not Kaspersky's official corporate website or official store. Nothing on this site creates a partnership, joint venture, agency or employment relationship between Digital Genius 360 and Kaspersky. Kaspersky, Norton and McAfee are trademarks of their respective owners. Where Kaspersky processes data through the software you install, Kaspersky does so as an independent controller under its own privacy policy and EULA — not on our behalf.
2. What we collect
Account data: your name, email address, phone number, password (stored only as a secure hash) and the date your account was created.
Order data: the products, SKUs, device counts and subscription terms you buy; your order number; the billing name, email, phone and any address details you enter at checkout; coupon used; subtotal, discount, tax and total; payment method (Cash on Delivery) and payment status; and any order notes you add.
Licence data: which subscription belongs to which order, the activation status, purchase and expiry dates, and the activation code issued to you.
Support data: the content of support tickets you raise, including category, message, any order number you quote, and our replies.
Technical data: cookies and similar identifiers as described in our Cookie Policy, plus server log data such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, used for security and troubleshooting.
We do not collect or store payment card numbers. Payment is Cash on Delivery.
3. Why we use it, and our lawful basis
To perform our contract with you: to accept and fulfil your order, obtain and deliver your activation details, provide your account, invoices and order tracking, and handle renewals.
For our legitimate interests: to run and secure the site, prevent fraud and abuse, keep records, and improve our service.
To comply with legal obligations: tax (including GST), accounting and record-keeping under Indian law, and compliance with export control and sanctions screening obligations.
With your consent: optional analytics and marketing cookies, and any optional marketing messages. You can withdraw consent at any time.
4. Transactional emails we send
Where email sending is enabled, we send service messages you cannot opt out of while you hold an active order or subscription, because they are part of the service: account creation, order confirmation, order status, licence delivery notification, support ticket acknowledgements and replies, refund updates, and renewal or expiry reminders.
For your security, we do not include your full activation code in the body of a marketing or reminder email — those messages link you to your account, where you must sign in to view it.
5. Who we share it with
Authorized distributor and Kaspersky ordering process: to source and issue your licence we pass the minimum information required to fulfil your order, which may include the order reference and the email address to which the activation code and licence certificate must be issued.
Service providers: our email delivery provider, hosting and database provider, and any analytics providers you have consented to. These act on our instructions under contract.
Legal and regulatory recipients: where we are required by law, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal information.
6. International transfers
Our providers and the authorized distribution chain may be located outside India. The Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 permits transfers of personal data outside India except to territories restricted by the Central Government, and we will not transfer your data to any such restricted territory. We also require our providers to protect your data under contract. Details are available on request at support@digitalgenius360.com.
7. How long we keep it
Order, invoice and licence records: for the length of the subscription plus the period required by applicable tax and accounting law, which is at least 8 years.
Account data: while your account is open, and then for a short period afterwards to resolve any outstanding matters.
Support tickets: 2 years after the ticket is closed.
Session records: sessions expire automatically 30 days after sign-in.
Email delivery logs: 12 months, to prove what was sent.
8. Security
We hash passwords, keep sessions in secure server-side records referenced by an HTTP-only cookie, restrict activation codes to authenticated account holders, limit administrative access by role, and keep an audit log of administrative actions. Activation and licence details are never exposed on public pages, in URLs, in unauthenticated API responses, or to search engines. No system is perfectly secure, and you must also protect your own account credentials.
9. Your rights
Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 you have the right to obtain a summary of the personal data we process about you and our processing activities, to seek correction, completion, updating or erasure of your personal data, to nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of your death or incapacity, to withdraw consent where we rely on it, and to have your grievance redressed. You can update your name and phone number yourself in your account. To make any other request, contact our grievance officer at support@digitalgenius360.com; we will acknowledge your request and respond within the period required by applicable law. You must exhaust our grievance redressal mechanism first. If you remain dissatisfied you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.
Please provide accurate information and do not raise false or frivolous complaints, as required by the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.
Note that we may need to keep certain order, invoice and licence records even after a deletion request, in order to meet tax and legal obligations.
10. Children
This site is not directed at children and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. Purchases must be made by an adult.
11. Changes
We may update this policy and will publish the revised version on this page with a new update date.
